I was born in Smithtown long island, at the age of five I went upstate to live with my aunt, we lived in a town called Watkins Glen, then settled in a town called Dundee. I remained there until 1994, when I then “returned” to long island, Babylon.
From there I would have an altering life changing pattern of events, Schools, Jobs, College, Friends, Family, homelessness and several times my life was almost taken from my body. Having to surviving a natural disaster, and so much more.
I went from Long Island, to Upstate NY, Back to Long Island, BACK to upstate NY, To New Orleans to ultimately land in Atlanta (Decatur) Georgia
When The Dust of My life Finally Settled From what New York and the People and Family I allowed into my life, the stuff I did to myself, what all that had put me through, What Hurricane Katrina put me through, and what happened may 18th 2006 in Atlanta, what I found out August 2nd 2006, and the three year down fall that spiraled from that, I am here, I am alive, and I am stronger then ever before.
I have fallen so many times, I have been places that have never been seen, I have come back when I was told there wasn’t a way, when nobody would help me, the world told me becasue I didn’t have money, credit, everybody shut the door in my face saying they had no help for me, So I helped myself, I found what people didn’t want to give me, and within the pages of this book, I hope that people find what I found within themself by seeing that I could make it, as well as I hope that the pages in this book educated people and help them not to venture to far down my path.
Life is all about learning, don’t let anybody control your life, make choices for you, be yourself, makes changes, don’t conform and most of all, enjoy the life you’ve been given….
